Acceptance testing

It is essential that upon the installation of equipment, a baseline is taken on the entire machine to determine if a problem exists that needs to be corrected before the equipment is signed off. Baseline data also helps in predicting failures by compairing future readings against the baseline.

To prevent malfunction

Vibrations in the system can and will lead to self detination in many systems. Prevent this from happening and have us come take readings.

Predictive/ preventive

With predictive maintenance, not only can you predict and prevent failures from occuring, but you can also determine the root cause behind the failure, and keep them from occuring again. Preventive maintenance is still used to prevent failures where predictive maintance is not possible.
